In your quest to help the knee pain, just remember that it can be in the knee, or muscles/tendons outside the knee pulling on the joint, or both. Ive had both.
Poke around with "inquisitive" pressure around the muscles/ tendons following them away from the knee. If some areas are knotted or tender, that needs to be worked on.
As far as topical applications there are a few that do something, but I found they work better when driven in by DMSO.
Homeopathic analgesic Traumeel was pretty popular but the FDA sued them and is going after many Homeopathic companies due to their claims. FDA says nothing works unless THEY (the FDA) proves it LOL!!! So now the same stuff is available in T - Relief, comes in two types in cream and pills.
https://www.amazon.com/t-relief-pain-relief-cream-114g/dp/b0006mq47a?th=1 there is a red tube and green tube, almost the same though.
A 2oz tube retails for $9. Any more is a rip off. Retail places have this too.
Gets the same reviews as Penetrex which is $19 a 2 oz "jar", these brands are not the same though.
From what ive read Penetrex takes a few days to work. Maybe because it heals?
T-Relief is instant, but I have not used it long enough, nor read if it helps long term.
They both have Arnica in them which heals inflammation.
