Lapis,
Thx for the tip.
k07,
Thank you. This is helpful. If I remember right, you moved to a house about 2 years old, right? Are you the one that has a lake house that had some mold? Sounds like you did not test for mold in the new house.
So you finally saw Dr. O? Please tell. I want to hear all about it. What was your impression? Did he tell you to do the ERMI or HERTSMI-2 on the house(s) to verify levels and sources of exposure?
I didn’t dream my relative’s house had gotten this bad. HERTSMI-2 went from 4 to 18 and asper/pen from 90 to 970. I’m being exposed to massive amounts of Fusarium but don’t know if house or car, as it’s not on ERMI or HERTSMI-2. Now I am super sensitive again and reacting everywhere. My car is bad, and I am sleeping in it to avoid the relative’s house. I’m in a nightmare.
Are you still in NC? I found a mold inspector there on the ISEAI site who sounds wonderful - Linda Eicher.
Hope you will post more about your appointment.
New house was tested. Lake house has some Aspergillus. My joints hurt more there. And I had a really weird experience once when there was a bad lightning storm. Literally felt like my body was not mine. Like restless leg all over and electric. I think there’s a strong link with parasites & mold.
Sooo, the appointment was different. He doesn’t seem big on lots of supps or even bloodwork. Didn’t say anything about
lyme & co or even think mold was an issue for me. He tests everything with ART, which I must admit I struggle with believing. But I am following it all to a T and if I see results I will be a believer. He’s focusing on detox & binders right now and did a treatment based off Lyme Stop (did this for parasite & fungus/candida). I continued to have parasite symptoms so doing the albendazole which should get here Friday. I’m quite excited to get that started bc of my big reaction to it the first time. I also felt less reactivity in stores - which I hadn’t expected. I started getting reactions again though as well as a lot of night symptoms (itching, restless leg, insomnia). So clearly whatever “it” is, isn’t gone.
No longer in NC. I do hope you can find somewhere safe soon. I think the south is hard for some of us. Have you always lived there? I grew up in OH and was fine. Started the weird symptoms about
a year after moving to NC. But we also bought the lake house at the same time. Hard to know...
I’m rooting for you. We just have to keep trying something.
