I have been getting increasing numbers of tiny bumps along the outer edges of my hands, the edge between the thumb knuckle and the wrist, and the edge of the wrist.
I can’t decide what they are or what’s causing it. At first I thought single hive bumps, but they don’t really look like that and they don’t disappear.
Then I thought maybe no-see-um bites. They do look similar to the ones on my legs. The spots stay for days.
Now I am thinking allergic reaction to something. I felt like new ones appeared or at least started itching when eating. This happened more than once. Maybe mast cell reactions?
I also wonder if it could be allergic contact dermatitis. That is what the bumps resemble, too. They’re very tiny and feel almost like they have a teensy blister like head the way dermatitis does. I have been washing my hands outside since I have been sleeping in the car. There’s a leaky garden hose attached to the faucet, and I rinse my hands in the water that leaks out of the hose. I feel like that water irritates my hands.
My hands have been feeling hot and burning a lot and fingers are tight. After supper it was making me miserable. Felt like I wanted to cut my hands off.
Took my dose of Xyzal about 20 minutes ago, and it feels a little better now.
Does MCAS cause bumps that look like allergic dermatitis?
