I wrote that on the bus last night sitting there kind of surprised at what I just did.
Then in town, I walked around town prob a mile or so checking out some Labor day/ end of summer festivities for a few hours. Then back on the bus for a while, then drove home the rest of the way, and still felt pretty good. For added pain insurance before bed, I did some late night cross friction/motion hard foam rollering on the legs/hips flexors and lacross ball stuff for the glutes.
Got out of bed after seven hours and moved really well. My foot that ive been fixing for two months felt really good, a change from just standing or walking on it.
I have not run or sprinted since the last deep snowfall last April - doing my short snow sprints (only 25-50 yards at a time depending on snow depth and feel) at the local ball-field/park, and there's nothing jarring about
that, just smooth resistance vs concrete running I just did.
Even if I could run across America like Forest Gump did, its certainly not in any of my future plans!....(ha ha).
Note:I try to use the word "cured" carefully as to not jinx myself and also while acknowledging that i'm still healing some parts.
