After 9 months of minocycline, I am getting negative PCR tests for bartonella, my vitamin B6 has gone down to normal, I no longer have the characteristic foul odor, and I have not recently gotten any new stretch marks.
Bartonella is difficult to get rid of, but if you're still having symptoms after a year of treatment, whatever you're taking is not working.
You do know that negative PCR tests can be false, right? The sample may not have any in it...
...and I'm thinking even more harder to detect as treatment progresses...and less bacteria in the urine or blood.
But, if you're feeling well...symptoms gone....then you can celebrate!!!
