“Or should I add those 1 drop at a time and ramp them all up individually one by one? I.e. add one drop JK for a few days, one drop of SA for a few days, one more drop of Hout for a few days..”
- I would do this.
Try to take 1 drop houtty 3x day. A week later, add a tiny dose of knotweed and get that going, etc. It’s best to add each new herb 3-7 days after each other so you can notice it’s effect. Get all the herbs in before increasing doses. The herbs are synergistic, so it’s best to get them all going.
If 3x day is too much for you, do 2x day. Doing 3x day at lower dose is better than 2x day at higher dose. That’s my understanding from reading Buhner’s books.
You can also do a taste test with each herb on your tongue to gauge your response. It really has nothing to do with taste but how your body responds to the individual herb. Get all your herbs out. Put one drop directly on your tongue and wait a few seconds. Gauge your response as positive, negative, or neutral. Do this with each one. You will likely be able to tolerate higher doses of ones you react positively to. Increase those first. Repeat this test every few months, as your body’s response will change over time.
