As far as the optic nerve being affected - an opthamologist can diagnose it. I believe it’s the Visual Fields test where they look at the back of the eyeball.

Usually headaches are a major symptom, I don’t really have headaches - I have a sensation of pressure behind my eyes.

And if minocycline is causing it I think just stopping it should be enough - especially if you have a milder case...
