Hello everyone,

Im currently filming a documentary for my thesis project on Lyme Disease that covers its long term affects on its victims, the difficulty of getting diagnosed, Coinfections and the stigma around chronic lyme. I have gathered interviews with patients and doctors but am looking to get more perspectives. Im mainly looking for female voices due to having more male interviews filmed so far.

I have been dealing with Lyme Disease and co-infections for over two years. I want to give a voice to those who are dealing with this disease and the struggles they face.

Im able to conduct interviews with people who live in North New Jersey, Central Jersey and anyone who lives closely outside New York City

Can you give some more information about the perspective this documentary will be filmed from?

I've seen it many times before where people are recruited and then when they see the final cut, it's completely the opposite perspective of what they thought it was going to be.

We can't really use any more bad publicity. Even if it's just for school.

The whole purpose of this documentary is build more awarness and support for Lyme disease while using the statistics, the research, the success stories from the patients and doctors who treat them. This is all for gaining support and providing insight to those who don’t understand and don’t believe what Lyme can do to people.

The perspective is from patients (ill be including my own experience as well) and doctors providing the challneges in the medical community, while explaining why this disease is stigmatized. The negative views on the Lyme community need to be fought as much as possible. Ive encountered it in person too many times, where people dont have the slightest idea or are skeptical of what we go through.

I want to get as many people I can to get involved to show the growing number of people who are suffering, I wouldn’t be making this if I wasnt supporting more funding, awarness and understanding for everyone impacted by Lyme. I hope that explains it.

Links promoting advocacy are not permitted? COME ON, HEALINGWELL. DO BETTER.

I fully support the "no spam", but come on - there is a big difference between useless spam and posts promoting advocacy.
