Starting Disulfiram + Cipro + Ceftin

Hello,
My doc just prescribed me disulfiram today. I have been on doxy, Rocephin, rifampin, rifabutin, Ceftin, Cipro and Tindamax.
Rocephin, rifampin, Ceftin and Cipro with Tindamax worked the best. I have a lot of improvements.
Yet the root cause, Bb is unharmed, untouched.
Unless Bb is gone first the other bugs will not go, since Bb creates disturbed immune conducive for Bart, bab, and others.
What is the effective abx combination, and other things to go with disulfiram?
Does it need a biofilm breaker?
Does it need a metal chelator?
Does it need anti-retroviral for improving Vit D function?
Is there any particular abx disulfiram couples with really good?

Disulfiram is very powerful on its own. It hits babesia and borrelia very hard. And I mean VERY hard. The herxing is really bad and you have to manage it.

It hits persistent cells and biofilms, but taking stevia with it is ok as longas it has no alcohol content at all. You have to be really careful with what food you eat and check everything for alcohol content - even things you wash your clothes with, deodorant etc etc. Disulfiram.net has a good list of things to avoid while taking it.

I know that Dr. Horowitz uses a combination of dsf, doxy, dapsone and rifampin to hit bartonella and has, according to him, had "miraculous" results with that.

What dose is your doctor putting you on?

Low and slow is the way to go. I kind of learnt that the hard way!

My doc wants me to take Dsf half tablet, 62.5mg/day and if I tolerate well then go upto 500mg/day. Doc asked liver monitoring blood tests every 2 weeks.

Not according to Dr J - he treats Babesia first (along with lyme) - he says it’s the one that has to go first - then Bartonella
Lyme is taken care of simultaneously with the Babesia and bart protocols.

I tried that, with malarone. It just made the bart flare, and then I had to take minocycline to kill the bart.

That’s how it works - treat babesia/lyme - but you still have to treat bart after - it’s not going away on its own.
