Update: Not much to report. Pretty bad left leg pain. Still at 62.5 every few days.

I understand but don't go too quickly. I've been there and done that. Not a good idea as tempting as it is.

i'm on 63mg week 3, attempt #2 and I almost quit today. to much brain inflammation (not a herx). However I took some tumeric, 4 table spoons, and felt better. I would never jump straight to 200mg, that's just really bad. it takes about 3,5,10 days to see if your first dosage 1/4 a pill, is to much.

Just remember it can build - even on a low dose.

When I went on Rifabutin which also has a fairly long half life - of 45 hours - I would take it M/W/F.
And on Friday morning I was feeling fine...no issues....and then by Friday night - boom! Herx like I've never herxed before....

I know you want to get on with this...and get better - yesterday...but a bad herx can set you back...one of mine took over a week to recover.

Dr. Rajadas said Disulfiram may win the molecule of the year award for it's multi-use, even with cancer.

My brother currently has glioblastoma and keeps relapsing with chemotherapy due to cancer persister cells in the brain, we're getting desperate with treatment for him. Even the Doctors remarked how chemotherapy doesn't cross the blood brain barrier well enough.

And what does DSF do effectively, cross the blood brain barrier. Anways, I suspect EBC-46 could also be an alternative for him too, but I have yet to hear anything of this drug reaching the market after the clinical trials.

And after my bartonella has popped up, I'm starting to think about going back on DSF for bartonella and borrelia myself, considering Dr. K is using Rifampin with DSF.

If Disulfiram wins the molecule of the year award, it's obviously going to be noticed in the news, and if it's noticed in the news, that means that the IDSA has been entirely wrong about Chronic Lyme and Persisters. I sure hope they win their case down in Texas.

The evidence is piling up against the IDSA Doctors, the CDC, the Government and Insurance Companies. How this all plays out will be interesting! A Major Mass Lawsuit? Considering what Dr. Lee said, who's filed a $57 million lawsuit against the CDC for surpressing early detection testing, suggesting that lyme patients will also be able to use his data to sue the CDC... Hmmm... All makes me wonder?

Progress needs to stop being delayed with this drug and things need to be pushed forward, I know they said they're working on reformulating DSF so the herxing is less severe along with psychosis, well that's great and all, meanwhile people are suffering and dieing. I'm tired of waiting!!!

My LLMD in Michigan said Disulfiram was going to be the main topic at the Michigan Lyme Diseae Conference. I've already talked to him about the success I've had with it a year back, I'm going to see if he'll maybe get me on DSF and Methylene Blue from a compound lab. He's already ignored my suggestion of pyrazinamide despite Dr. Horrowitz's success.

The verdict is out and where is the IDSA/CDC on all of this, like Dr. L's new study?

They were the one's who claimed antibiotics were unsafe longterm due to forming superbugs, c-diff, and serious side effects. Finally a safe drug that doesn't wreak havoc on the microbiome yet capable of treating chronic lyme. Where are your Wormser and Shapiro? Can't wait to see who they're going to worm their way out of this... I'm sure they're all protected under National Security.

Yeah I'm well aware how keto or vegetarian diet could greatly benefit my brother, he doesn't want to change his diet sadly.

I'm back to eating just vegetables and meat for my bartonella, the herxing has been quite severe recently.

I've been following Brooke Babble's videos on Youtube. She is on a pretty low dose from what I remember. She also seems to be struggling with the fatigue side of it. That is probably my worst symptom at the moment too. I feel absolutely wiped out by it.

Yes, I think 62.5mg with Biaxin. I might try that with something with low dose Rifampin.

But I think it's going to take me a week or two to recover from the neurological herxes and neuropathy, my LLMD had me on Valium, which was just masking my neuro anxiety herxes from Bartonella when I added in oregano oil with my bactrim+omnicef.

I started to get severe palpitations and nightmares, got off everything, now I know how bad I was herxing. Luckily I was only on Valium for about a week, but it's not worth it, after reading about the overdoses and withdrawal symptoms harder than heroin. I can tolerate pain, but the neuro herxes and anxiety from bartonella is unreal, but I'd rather deal with it by using natural supplements like magnesium.

I know right, but I think some sort of admittance will happen, whether the admittance to the chronic lyme infection or conspiring with insurance companies. Biowarfare? Yeah, we can forget about admittance to that.

Just know that there are false negatives with these tests - so you won’t necessarily know for sure what all you have.

Positive results are helpful though.


But retesting is not reliable to gauge whether or not you’re done treatment - unfortunately we have to gauge it by symptoms or lack of.

Jova if you get negative results for bart and / or Babs - you could do treatment for each ie a week or two and gauge the response.
A herx will be telling.
Not herxing won’t rule it out tho.

I think that refers to band 31 on the WB only.
There are lyme “specific” bands that show up.

Also Igenex can do a second test to rule out the “others” and determine band 31 is indeed borellia.
