Interesting thoughts as ever Quin.
I'm noticing Disulfiram having less and less effect on me too. I've taken 250mg today with no problem at all.
I hear what you are saying about the farts! Sweet Jesus, they are bad on this stuff!
When I took Disulfiram 2 years ago or so, I took up to 500mg a day with not much reaction at all, some minor herxing.
Understand that these coinfections can lay dormant, hide deep within the body, then once you wake them up and the killing starts to happen, the cytokine response comes, that's when you start to feel the severe herxing and feel like you're dieing. It'll take time, but you'll get to the point where you're feeling the severe herxes Jova Lyme. Just be careful, as sometimes the herx will come out of the blue and wake you up right out of your sleep, then put you in the ER. Been there done that, lol, as many lyme patients have.
It took me to fully knock down babesia with primaquine and coartem, then 3-4 months of CSA Formula and A-bab to finally bring out Bartonella. And that's when I finally became super sensitive to herbs like oregano with my bartonella antibiotics like bactrim and biaxin.
And once Bartonella is out, it's out for good, and a b!tch to put back into remission.
Dr Kinderlehrer said some Doctors are using triple antibiotic protocols to put Bartonella back into remission and he thinks Bartonella is the "most difficult to treat!"
https://youtu.be/q6dlpvbuxrq?t=1095Interesting considering someone on the Beating Bartonella group a week ago chimed in saying Cowden claims "you can beat Bart in 4-8 weeks with his protocol."
I loved watching the comments role in after that one, I'm grateful to see that the Facebook community has more realistic views on treating these coinfections, maybe because they're real identity is shown...
Anyways, I think the Dr Kinderlehrer protocol he's using of using Rifampin with super low dosage of 62.5 mg of DSF in an ingenious protocol, I could see that working really well for bartonella. But I still suspect the herxing may be too severe to tolerate after a few weeks, gotta back off when this starts happening.
