My mom has had a dry cough for a while, not sure if this is from a co-infection, if so which one? Or mold, I understand that can be a problem associated with Lyme disease.

Mycoplasma pneumonia is usually a wet cough I think. It could definitely be mold. A relative of mine has had a dry cough for decades, and it turned out she has some kind of slow-growing spot on her lung, but it hasn't ever needed treatment.

out of all of the coinfections, Babesia is most known for dry cough

As a side question, she didn't start a new blood pressure medicine right? Bc there is a class of meds that has dry cough as a side effect.....

Okay, yes it could be mold or Babesia. My mother's shortness of breath is quite a bit less and she has better color, so hopefully the Babesia is being killed off. Hopefully, the cough will be less in the coming weeks.
