Blood in urine, chronic bladder inflammation

My mom has had blood in her urine at times and numerous UTI's since being bitten by a tick over 2 yrs ago. I am assuming the blood in her urine is from chronic inflammation of the bladder. Is there anything anyone can suggest. She doesn't talk to the LLND until next Tuesday and she will tell her then. Her family doctor treated her for the UTI, but doesn't know anything about Lyme disease of how to treat it properly. 10 days of doxy is his protocol, and he said, you should be healed, otherwise you probably don't have Lyme.

Can you see the blood in the urine or it’s showing up in a urine test?

A couple things come to mind - bladder/kidney infection - or kidney stones.

Edit - you mentioned she was treated for a uti already

Was she restested since then?

She's been checked out for kidney stone, negative. No, bladder cancer either. Can Lyme cause bladder infections and inflammation? The tick bite was in her groin area.

For sure lyme and co’s can cause that.
There’s a term I’ve read several times : “Barty-Bladder”
Remind me - is she being treated for bart - if not - is it part of the planned treatment?

Yes she is being treated for bartonella, but it seems that it is hard to eradicate.
