We need some positivity in here! Share your Lyme- and health-related victories below.

Me: I just set a personal best for my mile today: 11:02! I really pushed myself and beat my best by 4 seconds which isn't much but considering I want to quit the entire time I'm pretty dang proud of myself.

i carried my daughter when in she passed out in the car . i was so grateful to have the strength to do so i cried a bit ... i am a walking talking miracle

jb1994—That's great!

I like running a lot too. I started only running a few hundred feet at a time, and now I'm able to do 3 or 4 miles. I can do a mile in about 8 and a half minutes now.

I really like this idea of a victory thread.

Congrats, jb1994! I felt really great today...don't know what tomorrow will bring. But today was a good day for me also!

My left foot which has been injured many times since the late 80's and never healed right, is now recovering, three years post ABX.

The $400 orthodics are under the entry way table, NOT in my shoes.

ive worked ever since getting sick (and i was really bad at first). still working as a gym teacher, on my feet all day, laughing and joking with my students again (as opposed to just getting here and getting home), energetic! now if only my hair would stop falling out so i don't go bald!

Everyday Im not as bad as I was in the beginning three years ago, is a victory!!!

So much better but still battling...we will conquer.

It just takes time and tweaking of the treatment....OK, lots of tweaking sometimes.

Have the best day you can everyone, and if its a tough day, try to find just one little thing that can make you smile, or bring joy .

Notime - I definitely don't LIKE running haha. I just want to be healthy again. 3-4 miles is amazing, and an average 8 1/2 minutes?! I can only dream...

Thanks everyone for the congratulations though!

Any small victory is welcome. If you got out of bed, took a shower, brushed your teeth, made a healthy meal, anything! Positivity builds upon itself. Let's keep this thread going!

Natasha - that's honestly more than I do. I just shower with water and only use soap in the form of shampoo to wash my hair.

I got my third best time today, 11:09. I thought I might break a record because I was really pushing myself and trying to increase my stride length but I guess it's still a victory over former days. And I did (sort of) successfully intermittent fast yesterday (barring a few bites here and there) so it'd be awesome if I could integrate that regularly.

I've had a bit of success (sort of) intermittent fasting. I stopped eating at night. It's helped me sleep better I think. My weight hasn't changed yet but I'm hoping to lose these last few vanity pounds. I'd love to just do one or two big meals a day but I need some sort of salad later in the evening or I go to bed hungry and can't sleep.

jb - I'm with Girlie on being envious. Very happy for you and wish you continued success and seeing that time drop. I still coach runners and stress to them success is individual. That's what's so great about running. That and the mind release it would give me.

I miss running so bad as it was my stress outlet. Like Girlie, my back still hurts so I can't run. Glad you are able and feeling up to it.

Well thanks guys. I went pretty hard today and actually ran instead of jogged in random intervals but still got 11:09. I think I'm plateauing around 11 minutes. If I break 11 I will definitely be happy. I can't say I like doing it at all though lol. Running is a pain.

Hanging from a bar I recently did 7 windshield wipers at each side. And for the second time did 4 strict ring muscle ups in a row. Nice to have some progress when things are a bit rough smile
