Have you tried one of the asthma inhalers? I had asthma as a child and into my 20s. End up in the hospital kind. Then it disappeared. I still have difficulty when I get sick and am in a environment that is not great (dusty, chemical smells)
It does help reduce inflammation. Often when I get sick I can battle my way through it and have it last for weeks or just give in and use the inhalers or a nebulizer.

I had it really bad in 2015 following bronchitis. That’s when my Lyne/co/CIRS went full blown and disabling. This was about
a year before I learned about
the Lyme and mold.
Had the whole pulmonology workup. Negative for asthma, but was given a Rx for double dose steroid inhaler for a month. It knocked the inflammation out about
85%. Most horrible and frightening symptoms I ever had. My chest felt stiff and rigid and my lungs couldn’t fully expand, like they were pushing against an iron wall.
Does this only happen with exposure to dust or chemicals, or does it happen randomly in the house?
Have you been away again for any length of time since the remediation? If so, did you react when you returned home?
Remediation can cause small particles to remain airborne. These particles are too small to be captured by HEPA filters. The surviving mold folks have a protocol for this using Aerosolver. You can google it. You can buy the Aerosolver Pure (unscented) and the recommended fogging machine and follow the instructions and videos on how to do it. Basically, it’s designed to capture the airborne small particles and pull them to the walls and floor where they can be wiped and removed. I would at least read about
and see if you think it might be worth a try. The point being, there could be small particles remaining that are causing an inflammatory reaction in your lungs.

There a multitude of herbs which can drastically improve lung and bronchial functions as well as reduce feelings of 'air hunger.'
Some of these include Astragalus, Licorice root, thyme, basil, eucalytus and ginger.
Two of my favorite formulations for this purpose are Gaya's Bronchial wellness syrup and Planetary herbals Old Indian Wild Cherry Bark Syrup.
The Old indian syrup is especially effective in my experience. It is a great formulation with dozens of herbs and it always seems to help me breath better. I took this during my active treatment at times when I didnt even have many respiratory symptoms just as an immune system aid. But it always helped when I did have symptoms like coughing, shortness of breath, stuffy nose or sniffles.

I am in the same boat and have found very little that helps.
Nebulizing propolis is one thing that helps, but does not cure this. Its very frustrating. I don't know really what to do about
at this point.
I have done tons of herbs, none of them helped at all for this issue.
