I just had the Western Blot done and they found only Band 41 on both IgG and IgM.
Bands 58, 64, and 66 were also found on the IgM, but those are considered non-specific.
My LLMD has said that these results, along with my overall symptom profile and exposure history, are enough to support a positive diagnosis.
I also received an overwhelmingly positive result on a Lymphocyte Transformation Test back in June.
I'm pretty certain I have Lyme, and have had it for many years, but I was surprised to see so few bands on the Western Blot. How confident should I be in the diagnosis?
Thanks!
