I tried taking cryptolepis. I had some muscle aches, typical borrelia herx. Also some diarrhea.
After a few days, I started feeling weird. Nervous and hungry all the time. It seems like it is messing with my blood sugar.
Anyone else experience anything like this? My doctor swears that cryptolepis doesn't have any side effects. I am doubtful.

Infuserve America in FL has cryto blend mixed with peppermint, which has some additional antimicrobial properties. Its was available by script
only, and cost per ounce was a better deal than 8 oz bottle from Woodland Essence.
Not sure if it is still available. I jut did a quick pass through their web site and didn't see it. Might be worth a call.

I bought a bottle from Montana Farmacy. Yes, it tastes awful. Also it contains alcohol. I didn't take it when I was taking disulfiram.

Does cryptolepis kill bartonella?

I noticed some herxing from it that could be bartonella. Maybe it's babesia. It's unclear if I got babesia. I had a positive bartonella PCR test, but not babesia.
I'm not tolerating it well. It made me quite weak and tired. It seems to be messing with my metabolism in some non-obvious way. My blood sugar remained in the normal range, but I smell of ketosis.
