I was told to start with a quarter of a teaspoon as well and about a half hour away from other supplements. I just put it under my tongue and let it sit there for a minute before swallowing. It doesn't taste great (sour, puckery taste), but it's doable. My dr. suggested following up with some orange juice if it bothers you.
I was also told to start it a few days a week and to see how I felt. In the beginning I had trouble taking it every day...too many toxins, but you'll know. Good luck.
