I got Lyme in June 2013 and initial 2 week doxy treatment as per the norm. A year later and after that I have had various symptoms for short periods at different times like dizziness, pains here and there, prostatis, short sleep, headaches but nothing major. The only symptom that is persistent and never fully goes away is air hunger. I have treated with abx twice (3 weeks and then 2 months) and Buhner for Lyme and Babesia ( I tested negative in 2014) in 2016 for a year and now I am on again since 4/2019. I have had night sweats for several days in 3/2019 and then for one night in 12/2019, so very random.
Doctors said in the past that Babesia should come with many other symptoms.
Now I have to take pills for high blood pressure (apparently had it for more than a year) - doctor says it causes the air hunger, could it be the opposite? I am already for many years on low carb paleo-ish diet, do not smoke or drink (apart from tinctures), physical activity can be increased, weight is normal. I do eat once per day though, kind of "warrior" diet, about 6-7 pm. But I have family history of HBP.
What causes air hunger as only symptom?
