I don't know much about lymph node pain specifically, but to me it suggests a lack of drainage. Are you able to tolerate sweating, like from an Epson salt bath or a sauna? Can you say more about the types of pain you are combatting? Do you have other types of pain common with Bartonella, like nerve pain and other neuro symptoms? I understand not wanting to take the oxycodone! I'm so sorry your doctor didn't have better ideas for you.
Essential oils don't sound like a legit option to people who have not worked with them before, but they can be great for pain because they act on the brain so quickly. My best ones for pain right now are frankincense, peppermint, lavender, rosemary, and rose geranium. (Some find peppermint energizing, so you might want to leave that one out at night.)
