I'm following a diet that is the opposite of yours, and having health results that are mind blowing.
40 years of Raynauds's symptoms are changing, fingers and toes discoloration coming back to healthy tones, inner energy getting so stable I wonder if I'm not the healthier of all in my family....
All my food allergies are gone - I had suffered seriously from so many food allergies that they were going to kill me, I felt. I could barely eat anything, any fruit, some veggies, etc for years... All 100% gone.
Brain fog is gone since December, like fully gone. I didn't even know how was life without brain fog: it felt like I was another person.
My liver always had pains, I needed constant treatment to monitor my liver / gall bladder, they were in trouble the last 2 decades: even that is changing drastically, no more pressure, no more pains. My liver went into emergency mode during lyme, of course. But even after lyme, it was not well...
All I did was the opposite of many with lyme do: I increased fruits and veggies (the fruits I could eat still, which were not many), dropped fats to 95% lower (meaning, barely any animal protein, no egg, no dairy, no butter, barely any olive oil), proteins were reduced to about 1 portion every 2, 3 days or so...
My brain got crazy on this change. It took about 4-6 months for my body to accept the change.
I had been gluten free for a long time, then I turned egg free, dairy free, practically oil free and very low protein. I ate so many green leaves, raw veggies, but also cooked foods such as potatoes, squash, any vegetable and legume....
What kept me on this diet, was that all my allergies were disappearing in super fast speed. After 4 months I could eat EVERYTHING, which made me wonder....
Well, I'm on month 14 now, and not ready to come back eating like before.
I'm just writing you this, because very few people are eating like me. It's somehow a modified diet as proposed by Dr Rau, from Paracelsus clinic, in Switzerland. In sum, cutting eggs, dairy, gluten and lowering the amount of fats did changes I would not even dream of. I thought I was going to die with Raynauds and food allergies, but now I do have hopes I won't.
