Any recommendations? I have an appointment with a Dr next month that was listed on one of the Lyme referral sites I found but am open to other suggestions. Also, am I allowed to post that Dr's name to see if anyone has seen them? His site lists Lyme but wasn't sure on rules. My email is in my profile if that works better.

You could list the doctor’s initials and the town.

Saw him - would not recommend at all.

What are your symptoms and did you have a tick bite?

Are you looking for antibiotics? When I saw him (2015) he really only used LDI (low dose immunotherapy). I personally would not recommend it as a primary treatment method. I did not feel like he was very comprehensive and I know several others who went to him.

If you’re set on seeing someone in OH then I’d lean towards dr PD in columbus. Google columbus llmd and he’ll pop up. I have not gone to him myself but from what I’ve heard he’s more of an LLMD.

Thank you for the reply. Was he unwilling to treat with antibiotics at all, or just not as the primary treatment? Is there someone you've gone to that was helpful that you'd suggest?

I haven’t been to anyone in OH that I’d recommend. I’ve only heard good things about PD.

EH never offered abx and at the time was just using LDI. Maybe call and ask if he uses abx now? I felt like he was a bit antiquated in his thinking in relation to Lyme. Also got the vibe that he knew everything. I prefer a doctor that is open to discussing things with me. I like to research and some docs don’t like that.

Hopefully someone else will chime in and give a recommendation. You may want to consider PA too. Not sure where you are in OH, but I’d guess PA would have better docs since they are one of the top states for lyme cases.

Thank you! I've heard there are some good docs in Pittsburgh, which would be a reasonable drive for me.
