So your new practitioner is knowledgeable about
mold and Lyme? That’s good. Sounds like you are very mold toxic. I have been through the same thing.
Did you leave all of your possessions behind? If not, you should consider the toxic effect your possessions may be having on you. When you mentioned articles of clothing causing burning, I immediately thought your clothing likely has toxins on it. Mold exposure can cause severe sensitivities to all sorts of things - mold, chemicals, EMF, etc. Sounds like you probably have some of that, too. Sometimes it’s hard to distinguish MCS from MCAS symptoms. I had MCS first, but after a bad mold exposure again, the MCAS symptoms became obvious.
Some sources say clothing can be washed in borax, but it really is individual based on a number of things - the specific toxins involved, how long the stuff was in a toxic environment, whether there is actual mold on it or in the fibers of it, how sensitive the person is, etc.
Are you familiar with the extreme mold avoiders? They have some great resources. Here are my two favorite sites related to mold and CIRS in case you haven’t found these already.
https://paradigmchange.me/wp/stuff/http://biotoxinjourney.com/an-overview-of-biotoxin-illness/One thing that is helping me now (3.5 years into this) is I finally was prescribed antifungals Fluconazole and Nystatin. I was also prescribed oral Amphotericin B, but I haven’t filled that yet. I feel like (and my doctor suggested) that I have mold in my gut.
You mentioned remediation. I just had remediation done on a house my mom and I bought. They did the Aerosolver Pure fogging process to capture small particles that remain suspended in the air last Friday. I went in the house for the first time Thursday and again yesterday without a respirator or HAZMAT suit. I still felt inflamed in my face and head, but I feel like I can get the environment clean enough. It is a vacant house though, and everything was removed - flooring, cabinets, fans, window blinds, etc. That’s a lot easier than trying to remediate a house with people and stuff in it.
