Two days ago I drank black tea with Stevia as sweetener. And, once again, my mood was much better after for that day. As I posted once before, this also happened a week or two ago.
My energy level has been much better without caffeine, but I've noticed my mood is so much better when I drink some - depression, which has gotten worse, improves after drinking the tea. The depression is coming from an ever-growing concern about
what is going on as skin continues to get worse with more wrinkles, light and brown spots and more fat loss. Losing hope so the caffeine break is a welcome, temporary relief.
Does this sound like an adrenal issue? I don't do it often as I know caffeine is not good to be drinking. But things have gotten to the point the problems caffeine might cause really don't matter to me anymore. Just a welcome relief from this.

I've posted something earlier about
caffeine/coffee. It can really help if you have lower amounts of acetylcholine which many chronically ill people from biotoxins usually have.

Welcome, Hope.still. You are in a good place being on this forum. I read your post about
caffeine/coffee earlier today. I was already going to post this after feeling better for a day after caffeine consumption and would have just posted in yours. Since it was coffee related and mine is tea, I didn't know if it would make sense to post there. But there is no doubt the days I do drink caffeine/tea, my mood is better. That's why I wonder about
adrenals.
Hope this forum serves you well. It has kept me going, and I find it full of not only people in the same situation but also full of very caring, good people.

Could be an adrenal issue, or the honeymoon effects of a first cup of coffee. It won't last in both cases though.
Do you crave salt?

For me, I do not crave salt. The surprise is the tea, which I drank in the afternoon each time, changed my mood. I know caffeine can wire me now, but this is more mood related - I came out of deep, negative thoughts and felt better mentally. This has happened twice,
Searching for why I feel as bad as it has gotten. Autoimmune or Lyme. Totally confused by it all, but I do know it is all getting as bad as it's ever been. The moments of feeling a little better are respites, as I know how so many others can relate. Just doubting it will ever get to a point of living life again. I don't like being that negative, but something just takes over in my brain.
