A few weeks ago, I had what felt like a focused sore spot in one of my sinus cavities. It hurt but went away after a few days, so I didn't think much of it. Then yesterday my throat started feeling sore, and when I looked at it I noticed a bump in the epicenter of the sore area. It started out the color of the tissue around it but very raised, almost like a skin tag. Today it's bigger and redder, and more sore. The rest of my throat looks normal. What on earth are these things?
Are these associated with any tick-borne infections?
Any other types of infection you can think of?
Do they sound familiar to anyone?
I am SO TIRED of my body doing new, painful, worrisome things. I'm already in the midst of the worst bout of costochondritis I've ever had, and in the post-viral inflammatory stage of getting over a cold (symptoms stopped over a week ago). I would cry but my throat and ribs hurt too badly!
