Exciting Mold Treatment Information

Greetings to my mycotoxin-laden friends. Neil Nathan just sent an extremely helpful email newsletter. Unfortunately this information does not seem to be on his website yet, so I will copy it here. For citation purposes, I will repeat that this information is all from an email sent by Neil Nathan on 3/31/20, and his email said to "use this information in any way that [my] creativity allows." So this is my creativity. ;)

Table one shows the mycotoxins as well as the corresponding detoxification process that the body uses to excrete them, and indicates which supplements and foods will aid in that process. Table two shows the supplements that best support the relevant detoxification organ for each mycotoxin. The + and - indicate up-regulation or down-regulation. He makes clear that this is a work in progress and he and a group of clinicians have been working to tweak this list and will continue to do so.

I read the transcript today of an interview that BetterHealthGuy did with Neil Nathan, Beth O’Hara, alnd Emily Givler on Dec 15, 2020.

The topic was “Precision Mycotoxin Detoxification.” It was a long discussion, and I learned a lot. While reading what they said, I went back and looked at my OAT and MycoTox results again. If Nathan is correct in his belief about colonization, then I am not colonized with mold, but I am with Candida. I never have positive Candida blood antibodies, though.

I also latched onto the chart information regarding the pathways involved. Gliotoxin and Zearalenone were the big ones for me. Unfortunately, the pathway for gliotoxin is unknown. Most of the mycotoxins involve glucuronidation, so I looked more into that and found there’s a support supplement called Glucuronidation Assist.
