How to take TUDCA

Figured I'd try it so I picked some up. do I take it with or without food? What dose do you guys work up to?

I took 500 mg out of the gate which is what was recommended on the bottle I got.. been taking it on an empty stomach (first thing in the morning).

Well I've been taking it specifically to keep my liver enzymes down.. seems to be doing the trick.

I did read about some other potential benefits before starting but I can't remember what they were now. What are you hoping to get from it?

Much of my experience with TUDCA is documented in this post https://www.healingwell.com/community/default.aspx?f=30&m=4191658. In that post, k07 linked a post from another forum that had some very insightful information about TUDCA.

As for dosage, I have been taking the Microbe Formulas TUDCA Plus - one capsule morning and night with all my other supplements. Each capsule contains 300mg of a proprietary formula, so I don’t know the exact dose of the TUDCA.
