What do lymies typically get out of using Plaquenil?

Its obviously out in the open with the covid19 scare - not what this question is for though.

My Dr never mentioned it for lyme. For co/inf or lyme?

I heard Dr H mention FDA approval for Lyme Arthritis per Dr Alan Steer. ??

Like Sergent Schultz.........."I know nothing"....

...please enlighten.

It’s used for babesia. Also for whatever reason it’s known to strengthen other abx. The “plaquenil + macrolide” combo is known to be synergistic

ah ha.....Ive also seen some other abx's combined with it.

plaq has a really long half life and may be better immunosuppressive which is why rheumys love it . but for persons with over active immune response and subsequent inflammation it may help .

Dr H prescribes Plaquenil but Dr J doesn’t.

It is an antimalarial so could be used for Babesia possibly.
