Tinctures in plastic bottles

Hi, some alcohol tinctures are sold in a plastic bottles. Are these bottles safe in terms of a toxicity (alcohol reacting with a plastic)? Once you receive them do you keep the tinctures in the original plastic bottles or pour into your own glass bottles? Thanks.

But they may have been stored in the plastic bottles for a year or more before you purchased them.

All the suppliers I buy from use glass bottles.
