I know Candida can cause herxing. Is it common to have a headache, diarrhea, and increased in buzzing in my feet and leg musciles from candida herx? The only abx Im on is Sida, Houty, Andro and JK. I dropped the Alchornea and Crypto. Looking back I have been taking these either CSA or Individual herb for two years. I dont want to overload the liver. I havnt started Biaxan yet. Can Cadida cause nuero problems? Nuero psych? If i suspect candida would it be wise to talk with my llmd and ask to treat that longer and then hit Bart? If yeast is my problem then I would hate to excasberate it with ABX. I will be on Difflucan for two day after I finnish five days of nystain. I take binders and at night NOW 100 billion probiotic.

In my experience Candida can definitely cause herxing. I think headache/GI impacts are pretty common. I don't know about neuro impacts but overall inflammation could serve to aggravate those symptoms.

Sometimes it's hard to tell where the symptoms from one issue end and when the other begin. I took allicin (garlic extract) for probably close to 7 months straight for Candida and had all kinds of herxes but I think it could have been hitting Bartonella in addition to Candida. So it's hard to say what came from what.

I definitely think yeast/fungal can cause herxing. It seemed to exacerbate joint stiffness, numbness, chemical sensitivities, cognitive issues, and emotional responses for me.

If i'm not mistaken molybdenum may help with a Candida herx?

Does Nystain have a biofilm busting capability? I dropped my herbs to one time a day. JK, Andoro, Houy, and Sida. It is doing something more than ever. Either killing more fungi or killing something else. I have taken these herbs for almost two years and never had this reaction. Headache, flu like symptoms, diarrhea, and stomach upset. I lowered my nystatin dosage and did not take my evening dose due to the need for detoxing. Was taking 100,000 iu tablets 2x a day. I am going to try 1 pill 2x day.

Not sure how well Nystatin breaks biofilms but I believe it is supposed to be a pretty good antifungal. It's possible you're in the process of breaking up a pretty significant fungal overgrowth. Or it's possible it could be an allergic reaction to the drug as well.

For what it's worth, in the first week I took (natural) antifungals, I had a very obvious release of large amounts of spongy-looking, whitish/yellowish fungal material in my stool. If you see something similar it could be a sign that it's working.
