Yes. I have the Lyme gene and one of the “dreaded” multi susceptible genes. It was beneficial to me to know that there’s a genetic component that helps explain why I got so sick while others didn’t. It also helps me be more aware of potential exposure to other sources of biotoxins such as blue-green algae.
Having a multi-susceptible gene makes me vulnerable. I have always
felt vulnerable to unseen things in the environment and lived cautiously based on my natural instincts, Having some knowledge of what is a potential threat is helpful to me, and knowing that those “feelings” had a real basis that was simply undiscovered at the time makes me feel better and more confident about
trusting my instincts without facts or proof.
My insurance covered my test.
I believe there are some other things besides the CIRS issues that can be at least partly mined from the data, like Alzheimers.
