Duflacan

Im struggling with taking Difflucan. I was to take one pill 2 x per week. I worried of the side effects. Mainy liver, kidney, and heart. Could one does do that much damage? I also have to start biaxan and not thrilled. I stopped some of my buhner herbs and feel better. I will be seeing my LLMD in a month. I got the script and I am constantly staring at the bottle. thinking of the risk and rewards.

Yes, that is correct. I have taken a seven day course of zpak. For a dog bite while working about a year ago. I didnt herx although it was only a seven day course. Speak is in the same class as Biaxan?

Thanks Girlie. I haven't worked up the courage to take my first does of Diflucan. I am just overwhelmed with the prescriptions. I cant stop looking at the warnings on the. I know I need to heal and I am lucky to be able to finally see a llmd, but the last thing I want to do is blow a liver, kidney, or heart out while treating. I did the herbal route and did see some improvements. The biggest improvement that I have seen was stopping the herbs except the andro, JK, and hout, adding in nystain and detoxing plus more probiotics. I did herx off of nystain for a day pretty good. My sister said my nice took difflucan for a fungal infection on her scalp when she was a kid and was fine . Maybe I am overreacting. I guess I am worried about not being functional. I do suffer from brain and psych symptoms and it is hell but I still can push on and function.

I just finished my sixth two-week pulse of diflucan, on a dosage of 200 mg per day for each of those two week periods.

I haven't had any noticeable side effects, though twice I've had transiently elevated creatinine. I don't know if that was a direct side effect of the medication, or due to the activity of bartonella (my LLMD says bart can cause elevated creatinine).

As long as you're doing standard labs (renal, liver, etc), you should be okay - especially on that low dose.

Thats my concern Girlie. I am supposed to be on BIaxian by now but havent started due to fear of what if I make yest a bigger issue. I hear Difflucan can be hard on the liver. I have been taking the Nystain and tolerate that well. I think I herxed a day from it. Maybe I will just start the biaxin and tell my llmd I am nervous to take the anti fungal.
