How far along your IV antibiotic treatment did you start to notice positive results?

I'm am a little past the two week mark with IV Ceftriaxone and I've learned that things don't clear up super fast with Lyme and co but i was hoping to hear some experiences from some people who have gone this route as well.

I had taken oral antibiotics/antimalarials for a long time and my stomach could no longer tolerate them which has caused me to move to IV treatment

at first i was doing 2 grams 4x week of rocephin. it helped the inflammation and bone pain about month in ... i pulsed it for a year with other modalities for cystic borrelia and bart . burrascano thought it may just pause most barts

are you on actigall to protect your gall bladder? how are you handling the rocephin itc1225?

I am on actigall

At about three weeks into IV Rocephin I'm still having some intense herxes. Every day really varies, fatigue can be really terrible, as well as headaches, nausea, and shakiness. Some of my major babesia symptoms are crawling back up so I will be going back on Malarone this week. Babesia has usually been my worst culprit but Lyme and Bart are a big part too.

My LLMD said we will decide towards the end of one month of IV if we will continue and it seems like I will most definitely continue on to see if I can benefit from further treatment since I can't go back to orals

I took a combination of four IV abx at a time and I felt bloody awful the entire 6 weeks. I don't think I felt any better until about a month after stopping treatment. And then it was up and down over the next year and half.

I did iv rocephrin plus orsl abx for a year and never really saw any improvements. Three years of daily multiple abx plus herbs and now I'm just starting to improve.
