Muscle wasting, losing a pound in two days, terrible shin and muscle pain ; Alternative Options

Hi y'all

I have been on and off antibiotics for 5 years and I'm officially taking a long break. Only certain types of antibioitics, antivirals and medicinal herbs have helped neurological problems and many of the synthetic drugs have done nothing for me or have unfortunately caused added on deleterious side effects.

So, I'm going to try alternative therapies at this point, they are:

* Hyperbaric chamber and/or pure oxygen mask with exercise ; I was told that the former threapy has amazing benefits and is able to heal many aliments. I know a few Borreliosis patients who have tried this and benefited from it tremendously. Problem is, where the hell do I find one in the NorthEast?? They don't just let Borreliosis patients in.

* Cold Laser Therapy. Expensive, herd the very strong lasers work great, however, there are some scams with the less powerful laser options.

* FIR Sauna - Covid shut the place down. Herd it helps a lot; alternating between other therapies.

* ULTRA-Violet threapy; have not heard much about this.

* Plasmapheresis ; cleaning blood plasma. Sounds expensive and others have said it works well for systemic infections that cause damage but I'm told they administer a steroid after the therapy sometimes prescribing for life. I don't want to take a steroid.

* HGH therapy. I have heard HGH and testosterone but more in particular the former have helped pain and recovery for Borreliosis patients tremendously. How the heck do I get it though? Athletes use it to quickly recover!

* OZONE therapy: Directly injected ino blood or Ozone mask or full blood Ozone threapy via taking out lots of blood putting it into a machine, cleaning it with ozone (O3) and then injecting it back into body; sounds scary, lots of websites are censored by google on Ozone threapy and they push to the top of their search engines
the dangers of Ozone even though it is used for dozens of aliments and infections. All that being said, I know someone who had the three B's and nearly died she lost 35 pounds and looked terrible. She seriously was on her last leg and told me she was ready to die. This, all after three years of trying antibiotics and herbs. So much for Borreliosis not being serious Allen Steere! Anyway, she decided to try injected Ozone therapy. She gained back the weight, looks amazing and is working 80 hrs a week when she could not even walk up thr stairs. This is a miracle. I saw it firet hand. Not wven being able to help herself, to being able to drive again and work without getting fatigued!

I'm still nervous about O3, and it smells putrid but it worked for her!

So my last question, can anyone reccomend me any hush, hush places in the northeast that use these threapies for us patients?

I also had that problem. I think it solved with changing my diet to a non allergenic diet.
I lost weight for about 5,6 years or more, muscles basically, but now I start to gain some of it back.
At least, I did not lose weight the last year, which was a surprise for me.

I stopped everything inflammatory such as eggs, any milk product, gluten, I've been mostly on veggies and fruits in high amounts. I still though take grains (rice, millet) though.

I use a 100W laser to do cold laser. I do think it helps my health, to tell you the truth. I do cold laser treatment at home. But I started gaining weight before I bought the laser.

The advantage to have your own laser is that you can use it often. The one I bought is used professionally by dentists, I only bought after I saw how fast my aunt healed her mouth sores due to chemio. In minutes after the laser she could talk and eat again. The wounds closed so fast that it was unbelievable.

I had the symptoms you mentioned following a virus about 18 months ago. (Apologies if I've already told you this.) Lost tons of weight (and didn't have any to spare) and my muscles wasted away. I was diagnosed with viral myositis, reactivated EBV, and an adrenal crash, depending on which of my doctors I asked. ;) My limbs were totally different shapes form normal, and my face as well. My muscles and tendons were very sore, as though I were "feeling the burn" all the time, especially my shoulders and upper thighs (proximal muscles). Neuro issues arose as well - lack of coordination, peripheral neuropathy, twitching, pain, dizziness, weakness, and a bad flare of POTS. I had not taken any pharmaceuticals, but I began taking a lot of immune-boosting herbs around the time I got the virus (just a cold). I didn't make the connection until later that this most likely was a cytokine storm set off by the virus and exacerbated by the immune-boosting herbs. Is there any chance that you are setting off an autoimmune response by tinkering with your immune system? Things started to resolve when I backed off of those things and just stuck with immune modulators (not boosters).

Maybe this resonates and maybe not, just thought I'd pass along my experience. Sorry I don't have any ideas for you about the therapies you mentioned. Groton Wellness in MA uses a lot of ozone in their dental practice, so maybe they also offer it in their functional medicine practice? (I do NOT recommend them for dental treatment, but I have heard great things about them for Lyme.)
