So I’m starting fluconazole in a few days. This is basically the last thing I’m trying. I’ve done antibiotics, herbal protocols, mold protocol, antiparasitics, IVIG, hormone meds (thyroid, adrenal), vitamin drips and supplements and even hyperthermia. I tested negative for Candida (blood test) but my doctor says the test isn’t reliable. I’ve had a real lack of progress though. I’m wondering what I should prepare myself for it to be like when I’m on the fluconazone. Does it always work if I have Candida? For example, sometimes antibiotics don’t work for Lyme so I’m wondering if I have Candida will fluconazole definitely get rid of it? I was on nystatin and didn’t feel anything but I didn’t know until recently that nystatin isn’t meant for systematic candida. Also, what are the systems of systematic candida? Right now my biggest things are fatigue and hair loss. But I have a slight white coating of on my tongue. I’m also wondering if I should be on a certain diet while on the antifungal. I already eat sugar free and gluten free but should I not be eating carbs? Thanks for any clarity and input!
