https://www.hypersomniafoundation.org/sleep-ssdi/One more thing for people trying to get disability when the word "lyme" means nothing........yes a technically accepted legal term for being to sleepy. I had heard of this term before, but there's a medical term fort everything today it seems.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
I sleep a lot better now that I'm in lyme remission / cured/ whatever you call it, but still not a normal sleeper and prob never will be. Its not uncommon for me to have to little or too much sleep (causing grogginess) and always feel better after a mid day nap. With lyme, I could barely function, not sleep at night and fall asleep at work (a desk job was/is the worse job for me), so im way way improved from where i was.
Many with chronic conditions probably will never sleep correctly, thats the way it is and prob part of the background why your so susceptible to lyme in the first place and all the things that come with it...autoimmune ect...
