Hi PhysEdGirl, Your post breaks my heart but take solace in the fact you are not alone. It amazes me how many commonalities we lyme patients have. I lost about 70% of my hair. I know how alarming it is. On top of Lyme, Babesia, mold, hormone and neurotransmitter imbalances, I am legally blind. I have retinal dystrophy (genetic) but also have optic nerve atrophy which I’m sure is from the Lyme.
I also have GI issues, but when I’ve tried even a 10 day trial of antibiotics to heal the bacteria I herx wildly. So I’m trying to tackle the mold with binders.

What treatment are you trying? My thoughts are with your daughter. I pulled a tick off my head a month ago. I reside in MI.

I hope we can keep each other’s spirits up. Hang in there.
