Disulfiram and Joint Pain

Currently on 125 mg every 3 days, and last week started taking folate and benfotiamine to combat psychiatric side effects (helped).
Four weeks into the disulfiram treatment (around two days ago) I began experiencing cracking joints and full body joint pain, especially pain in my knees and feet.
This is the first time I've experienced the joint pain (as opposed to bad headaches and upper body aches from mold and herxing).

Has anyone had a similar experience on disulfiram? I am concerned whether the new pain is neuropathy caused by the disulfiram or herxing

Welcome to the forum, remeny.

I haven’t taken Disulfuram but neuropathy is generally nerve pain/numbness/buzzing etc -not joint pain.

Unless I’m missing something - that is likely a herx

I’m sure orhers’ who have taken disulfiram will be on soon to help.

The headaches could be acetaldehyde build up, you can try dihydromyricetin for that.

Thank you for this info! Luckily, my headaches went away with the onset of the joint and extremity pain.
