3 weeks ago I started to get pain behind my testicle. Went to urgent care. Said it was likely epididymitis.
Ran std test - negative. Said uti is unlikely at my age and the fact that I’m already on rifampin and azithromycin.
Has anyone dealt with this in relation to bart? I’m wondering if those buggers found refuge down there and my body is shifting from the brain to other areas as I recover. Maybe that’s reaching though..
I’m also wondering if being on the abx so long has allowed E. coli or something of the sorts to come out..
Functional doc basically told me to rest and ice. Would consider more testing if problem persists.

it's a common manifestation of Bart I'm afraid.
I have it from time to time.
not usually too severe but uncomfortable - at least in my case
most intracellular pathogens seem to like this part of our anatomy
seems to pass or at least drop back to the background of other aches and pains after a few days in my case.
this happened to me while on azithr and rifampicin and doxy too. not severe though.
i take a large number of buhners herbs ( all his lyme protocol and his bart protocol too)

Weird my functional doc never mentioned it..
He recommended a supplement for that area but I haven’t looked into it yet.
I’m also on a lot of buhners stuff for bart/CNS. We don’t suspect Lyme in me.
I’ve been treating for 5ish months now so kinda surprising it was to show this late.. but like I said maybe my body is prioritizing other areas more now?
Definitely not a debilitating pain, it comes and goes.. but it makes sexual activity a little complicated and is generally annoying

I have it off and on. Just ignore it and keep pushing forward.
