Some damage from Lyme may unfortunately be permanent. If you have had the infections for a long time some of the joints can get to the point of bone on bone Rubbing causing pain. Mind you I'm not talking about mild discomfort that you push through on willpower, I'm talking about eyes watering grind your teeth pain that may keep you from doing anything other that sitting in a chair.
Anybody have some suggestions? Thanks

Have you thought about platelet rich plasma?
I read about it years ago but haven’t seen much in it lately.

bvt got me walking again...and my father who literally has no miniscus ...there is a calcium removal device that uses sonic waves and a magnetic hammer wasn't fun but it was helpful...shockwave maybe

bv is 4x more anti inflammatory than corticosteroids and blocks pain receptors for 24-48hrs...however you may find temp relief with a white willow ,kava ,cordyalis decoction if thats not strong enough try low dose kratom in hot water...kills pain @5hrs if tolerable ..francenscence eo topically may help with dmso to drive it in...

Are you thinking meds or therapies?My mom had bone on bone both knees and hips (all replaced now). She still has lots of pain and voltaren (oral) is the only think that helps her be able to move.

I’m not to that extreme pain yet..You could try LDN for pain management. Can take awhile for benefits though. I’ve recently started it again. I was also prescribed celebrex for pain but have not tried yet.

Things I have tried: cbd, curcumin, motrin, alleve, meloxicam. None were that helpful. In terms of therapy I’ve done yoga, swimming, rolfing, chiro, TENS. My pain is low back and hips.

The bee venom cream helps for a short while as does tramadol.
I have DMSO but had been afraid of using it with all the Internet warnings that it delivers skin nastys right Into your blood.
I know you said the voltaren oral but did the voltaren cream work at all?

Just make sure your skin is clean where you’re applying it.
My husband has used it many times and has never had a problem.

DMSO is harmless if you have clean skin. Dont worry. Takes 20 min to dry on dry clean skin. Just used it over Penetrex (mostly Arnica Montana) that on my beat up foot after my morning shower.

Have any idea how many food chemicals are in you? Thats prob worse.

So do I apply the DMSO on the skin first and let it dry and then add whatever I want to penetrate through or do I add the DMSO and then add the other additives while the skin is still wet?

it was relief i got from bv creme that made me want a higher more concentrated dose...

re dmso: add stuff then i use dmso let penetrate then rinse.

i also use a compounded lido, gaba keto topical gel takes the edge off.
