six months ago, my menstrual fluid loss went way down, probably 10% of what it used to be. I researched every one of my supplements and couldn't figure it out. I'm 38 and don't have other symptoms of perimenopause. about
two months ago, I read that stevia (which I had been using heavily in beverages for that same time period) is associated with light or skipped periods, hot flashes, low sperm count, and other hormonal effects. I stopped ingesting stevia, and my last cycle was much heavier - not totally back to normal, but about
70% of normal. I should know next week if things have normalized....
If you don't consume any stevia, then I guess this is just a recommendation to look into everything you consume, just in case....
Any reproductive health issue for those of us with uteruses is understood by mainstream medicine about
as well as Lyme disease is. This stuff can be so frustrating!
I have read that black cohosh can cause spotting. I assume that you started taking it for the hot flashes? Since you already tested as estrogen-dominant, I wonder if it's making that worse. I know that thyroid issues can correlate with estrogen dominance as well.
Have you heard of seed cycling for hormone balance? I know people who have found that very helpful.
