ChickNorris,
YEAAAH!!!! I am so happy to hear that!! May you have many more years of health, happiness, and wholeness.
I have heard of peptides but not MOTS-C. Did your doctor recommend the peptide treatment? Where do you get it? Is it expensive?
It was prescribed, made by a compounding pharmacy called Archway Apothecary. I had responded favorably to the peptide BPC-157 in the past for a tendon injury so my dr knew I responded well to injectable peptide therapy. It is rather expensive, I think the MOTS-C was around $500 but IMO well worth it. The lingering fatigue was a real problem and I think contributed to my migraine attacks as well. Since I’ve been able to workout and be more active, I find myself getting less headaches, recovering from them quicker, waking up earlier. Chronic fatigue has such far reaching consequences. Nothing I’ve tried in the past worked well for the fatigue issue. And I don’t know how well the peptide would have worked if I hadn’t been basically in remission.
If I feel that fatigue creeping back in then I absolutely will do another round. It’s one injection a week. First week was a little uptick in energy, second week I was working out every other day, third week it was like my body actually woke up after years of hibernation and now I’m getting the positive feedback from being more active too.
