No herx possible?

Forgot to ask how do I know if it's working if no more herx. I stopped taking herbs after 3 months and then felt like.i was dying all over again. IDC if I have to take these herbs the rest of my life to feel better.

pretty normal to get used to the herbs and have less herx at a given dosage over time.

typically the herbalists like Buhner advise increasing the dosage until you get somewhere in the effective range that he sets out - keep it there for a while and then gradually reduce.
if symptoms flare up again - go back on the herbs for longer or at higher doses and try again.

buhner typically advises doses of 20-40 drops of Sida 3-4x a day
less if it is in a combination with other antimicrobials like Houtty or Cryptolepis / Alchornea

many people with Lyme struggle to get near the advised target doses - but also lower doses can be effective for some - so it's a trial and error approach - adjusted for each individual case.

the process is to, plan, trial, listen, and learn how your body responds, adjust accordingly, and iterate until you get the desired results.

unfortunately, there simply is no one size fits all treatment that works for everyone.
this is the same for pharmaceutical drugs as herbs.

Dr Burrascano did careful trials of drug concentrations on Lyme patients with Doxy and Amoxicillin and found blood concentrations to vary by 10x for doxy and 100x for Amox from patient to patient when on the exact same doses. (see his Norvect 2014 presentation)

I would try a few more drops.

If still no herx - up it again.
