hi,
it sounds like you are moving in a good direction to support your overall health.
Lyme is a whole-body problem ( maybe a whole body and mind problem in fact ) and as such needs a comprehensive approach
i find focussing on the following can have a hugely positive effect on your ability to move forward
-sleep
-diet
-exercise
-stress management
regarding the antimicrobials
you do not mention if you have confirmed lyme or co-infection diagnosis - but your symptoms seem to suggest Bartonella ( foot pain, fatigue and circulation issues )
most leading LLMD's treat Bartonella with 2 or 3 antibiotic combinations
typically Doxycycline(or other tetracycline), Rifampicin (or rifabutin) and Clarithromycin ( or Azithromycin - but often Clarithromycin preferered)
i do not know much about Keflex for Lyme or Bart - hopefully, it is proven effective for both Bart and Lyme and known partner well with Clarithromycin for Bart
oregano oil has some demonstrated ability to kill Bartonella persister cells so that seems like a helpful addition
ref supplements
i currently take a number of supplements and have tried dozens of them over the years, but cannot honestly say any have made a very big difference for me. i now take them as a kind of insurance rather than expect them to make a significant difference to my outcomes.
my main ones now are
vitamins A, B complex, C, D, E.
minerals, magnesium, zinc, selenium
others - Co Q10, Omega 3's
the only area I personally have found very helpful that you do not seem to have in the current protocol is herbs to support the immune system.
for me, this has been the thing that has helped the most so far - more even than antibiotics.
i take a combination of all the herbs in Stephen Buhner's latest lyme book - particularly the ones focussed on lowering cytokines and modulating the immune system.
i was stuck for years in a bad way until I started this aproach.
it has taken a while to gradually add each herb - but progress has been gradual and continuous so far.
Thank you for your reply!
I have a clinical diagnosis of Lyme/Bart, and it seems Bart is my main issue (my LLMD doesn't think my Lyme ia active)
