Germ, disease and bacteria stuffed toy gifts

Good grief.

I'm not sure what I find more puzzling -- that someone would come up with this idea, or that they would be able to get funding to turn the concept into a reality.

I can imagine Christmas morning...

Dad (handing present to five year old daughter): Here, Sally...it's from Santa.
Sally (shaking box): What is it?!?
Dad: open it and see!
Sally (having opened the box and holding the stuffed toy): Daddy, what is this?
Dad: Well, honey, it's the Bladder Cancer that killed Grandma.

Ah, there's nothing like the holidays.

Poor Sally will be in therapy for years. Because of the trauma her Dad caused her, she'll never trust men again. This will lead to broken relationships, and, unfortunately, a dependence on alcohol and drugs.

Quite funny. I actually wanted to dress up as the giant covid cell they always show on new articles for Halloween. My wife nixed the idea. The STD ones are a riot. Yes I have a sick sense of humor sometimes. Contemplating getting the Chlamydia one for a adult friend.
