It's a very challenging illness to deal with - especially if you are alone.
people here understand what you are going through and will support you as much as we are able though.
Change, improvement, and recovery are all possible - so there is always hope.
the anti-depressants may well help with the crisis you are going through in the short term at least to help you get on a better track with the underlying problem.
(i would try not to begin to rely on them long term if at all possible )
having seen two practitioners i guess you will have a feeling for which you feel most comfortable with in terms of them having the understanding and tools to help you most.
i would say choose one and stick with them for 3-6months at least to see how you get on - then perhaps take stock and if you don't feel they are able to help - try someone else.
The same goes for any treatments - with Lyme and associated infections - things that help can make us feel worse to begin with, so it takes time to understand if something is going to help or not. so try to be patient and give it time.
People here would also be happy to review test results and offer advice in terms of what has worked well for them.
the more information you can give (in terms of your history, what tests you have had done and the results and what you have tried so far and what has helped or not helped)
the more relevant that advice is likely to be.
people have recovered from very very severe states of illness with Lyme and associated pathogens - so please hang in there and just focus on doing the things that can help.
