Anyone deal with phlebitis from IV’s?

Currently being given the Patricia Kane PC protocol. A lot of my veins are turning into chords from the specific treatments. Even after using one vein for the first time.

I’m told eventually they’ll soften and that it’s rather common with this protocol. One large one in my forearm has been hard for over 2 months now.

Anyone with any insight around this?

sounds like scar tissue from bad sticks ...i ended up getting a port; or a a picc line may be needed for long term care . don't let em blow it out

I had phlebitis after a month of constant, different IV treatments. The veins slowly returned to normal over the course of a few months.

When I had a picc line for Rocephin they checked blood labs every week and that arm developed bad scar tissue which eventually got better.
