None of the LLMDs in Michigan are any good anyway for someone who is chronic.
You're right for the most part, but Dr. L in Sagniaw was a good doctor for the most part even though he wouldn't use any of the persister cell drugs or IVs, I think he was great for getting you on the right track if you're new to the disease and get your started on antibiotics, along with educating new lyme patients on keeping your liver and kidneys healthy, along with alternative therapy for inflammation, along with other simple stuff like getting you diagnosed or having the Igenex blood test kits on hand to send off to California. Asked him once what he thought about
the documentary Under the Eightball when I first contracted like 12 years ago, he didn't hold back and told the truth. Along with new recent revelations with the book Bitten..
Majority of Michigan LLMDS are in their 70s, will be retiring soon, even though they weren't great longterm, they got you diagnosed, started on treatment and educated those that were new. What happens when we lose that? I feel for the next generation coming up, we all know the numbers are either staying the same or getting more each and every the year. Not everyone carries an Igenex bloodwork kit to send off like Dr. L and Dr. Z had in their office. Guess what, it still being 2021, mainstream is still sending off the standard Elisa. Amazing how some things change, like on the internet, but nothing changes in mainstream medicine, feels like being in the movie "one flew over the cuckoo's nest" if you ask me. Still the same people who would probably fill you up with predisone and oipiods, send you on your way...

I thought Dr. L had someone taking over for him? I saw him for a year about 8 years ago and he couldn't help me. Never
Maybe he did at one point, never heard that...
Sorry to hear that, yeah he was a mixed bag at times, but he definitely got me back on track with bartonella when it got me derailed in recent years. But the antibiotics he used for bart, didn't work, he even knew that when he said the coinfection was so easier to treat years ago... Yet his protocols and drugs never evolved, meanwhile the bacteria obviously did evolve and became more drug resistant strains. Again, going back to what I said, what do we do now, seemingly that the new generation of doctors coming out college aren't evolving either and not much has has changed much within mainstream medical community either. I guess it just hit me hard when I heard he was retiring... I feel for the new patients and new generation.
Your first post the binge, welcome to the nut house, where nothing changes much, but on certain days you might get cigarette if you're lucky...
And I didn't mean the forum really, that is more of a gateway and it's nice place to be, but I'm talking more about
the fake reality and world we live in, the internet is starting become more of the reality and truth, than life itself lol.
https://youtu.be/xlvsohbg_yaDon't want to be too depressing, was working a lot lately, then got layed off, doing two of my jobs, now just down to one again. Along with lifting super super heavy weights and working out, living a decent life. But this disease changes you, even when you come out the other side, you hope for things to change after 12 years pass, when i don't see much change, I guess it just pisses me off. Kind of gives you PTSD or something when you know what the truth is, but still sill people repeat the same conjecture within the medical community like robots that they are, including the Doctors that claim to have Phds and trained in the profession. Literally seems like some form a of a simulation or matrix in an analogical way.
Anyways, maybe the Rona and winter starting to get at me, lol
