Wierd question bt I'm curious. If anyone was to take antibiotics or herbs to kill off lyme,bart, babesia, Etc bt only took antibiotics or herbs for a certain period of time, and didnt kill ALL of the bacteria off, would it mean less lyme bacteria would be present in your body, or would it multiply somehow , or would the bacteria remain partially gone ??? If I killed 50% lyme in my.body and just stopped treatment for a few months or year what would happen to the remaining bacteria, would it accumulate again or?

all of these microbes reproduce in the body

most of them by some form of fission - ie one cell splitting itself into 2 or more new cells

the time for this reproduction varies from one species to the next
for bartonella species it is somewhere around 24hrs
for Borrelia - somewhere around 3-4 weeks
for Babesia species - something like 5 days - or so i have read
( the exact timing will be species or even strain specific and vary by conditions, temperature, nutrient availability, oxygen content etc etc )

if you stop treatment with even a small percentage of them surviving they will have a chance to multiply and recolonise the body.

strictly speaking they will always be in some kind of battle with the bodies immune system so do not completely follow unimpeded exponential growth patterns.
the better your immune system the better it will be able to counter their growth

however all 3 of the bugs you mention have specific immune suppressing properties that they use to improve their survival rate.

borrelia and bartonella have been demonstrated to form persister cells - these are living cells that have entered a low metabolic state where they are no longer growing or dividing and in this state are pretty much immune to most antibiotics. Babesia is very hard to treat also - and is thought to have its own survival mechanisms - but to my knowledge these have not been uncovered as yet.

these persister cells are thought to be one of the main causes of treatment failures. they have been shown to be able to sense when antibiotics are no longer present and then resume growth and dividing

You need to keep treating until symptoms are gone -
Otherwise the bacteria will continue to flourish

Even when symptoms are gone, even for a good period of time, they can come back during times of stress to the body. There is no cure.... just hope for remission, or being able to live with acceptable degrees of low symptoms.

Oh great,had no idea they can just multiply if only half killed off. It's kind of like when something reproduces by itself then basically and keeps multiplying? I've stopped treatment few months bk bit started up again, I'm currently on clindamycin which is definitely effective against lyme I beleive as tje headaches started up. I had to stop sida acute months back because I found out it is also used to lower blood pressure which I already have low blood pressure and (pots) what I thought was an Intense herx was but also i thought I was catching myast breath and my blood pressure dropped dangerously thought I was gonna die for sure. Idk how ppl take sida with low good pressure, any more herbs that are effective besides sida(I know sida is the strongest and best) also I was told by a doctor a hallmark symptom of adrenal fatigue is low blood pressure constantly. I've had adrenal fatigue amd was told it is treated by using magnesium (pill form bt more common iv) I also tried 500 mg of it not knowing it was way too much and also my blood pressure once again dropped lower and I felt I couldn't breath) the doctor recommended trying 200 mg bt idk now. I've found so many herbs ,minerals to be an issue with low blood pressure, has anyone else taken magnesium orally or by iv and had this happen?
