Armour thyroid med. crashing bp

Hey guys,
I’ve been suffering from terribly low bp recently. I think part of is because I’m finally up to full dose of armour thyroid med. I can’t back off on it because it’s helping my mcas issues. I can’t up my midodrine because of some funky brain inflammation issued that started making it counter productive after a point. Florineff exacerbates these weird inflammation issues. I’m scared to take licorice because I think it’s a phytoestrogen that makes my mcas worse sometimes. At some point my body decided that salt should exacerbate my mcas. So do you guys have any other ideas to raise my bp? This is also still my first month on full pill of armour, does your body figure this out and adjust to have higher bp or does it get worse as it builds up in your body?

It would be nice for my hands not to be numb anymore 🤣

Yeah I guess in theory tomorrow. The only thing is I doubt I’ll need less. I’m on the lowest dose of armour they make.

Thanks astroman. Mine actually are 15mg 😜. They’re so tiny and crumble easily. Splitting them with a splitter was impossible for me since it just crumbled. When I was working up I sort bit pieces off the pill and tried to leave some crumbs out. This may vary a lot though since I imagine there may be several generic producers who make their pills differently. That is interesting that there’s only one size.

Ohhh so protein is why they say not to take it with food. My docs typically let me ignore that instruction since typically I do very badly fasting at all (have to eat in middle of night) and they were just happy with me taking any thyroid hormones, even if part of it got swept up by food.
